We are proud of our patch and name which has been around since inception of the club in 1974.

Our patch is a registered trademark. This provides legal protection through the Trade Mark Act 194 of 1993, from a third party using our patch or something deceptively similar.

The Wild Bunch patch is based on a pirate flag also known as “Jolly Roger”.

The 3 skulls of the Centre patch represent the 3 most notorious and feared pirates.

Left skull represents Samuel Bellamy
Middle skull : Blackbeard
Right skull : Francis Drake

The two crossed connecting rods and pistons under the skulls represent the combustion engine of a motorcycle.

The bottom rocker worn by females has the wording “Fera Domina”  . The Latin to English translation of  Fera is “Wild Animal” and Domina is “Lady”. So, the direct translation is “Wild Animal Lady”.
